We are a low-income family of three living in a tiny one-bedroom flat, so we share the bedroom with our five-year-old daughter. The room is just big enough to fit a cotbed for her and a double bed for us. Over time, our daughter outgrew the cotbed, but there was simply no way to fit both a double bed and a single bed in that small space.

Then, one day, something wonderful happened. I saw a post in a local Facebook group from a kind lady offering her son’s old high sleeper bed. The bed wasn’t brand new, but it was still in great condition and perfect for our cramped room.

But her kindness didn’t stop there. She came to our home with a friend, and together they assembled the bed for us. She even gave us a mattress and bedsheets—all completely free—because she just wanted to help someone in need.

When the bunk bed was set up in our room, our daughter’s eyes lit up with joy. She was thrilled to have a new bed and even a little space of her own in our tiny flat. Seeing her so happy brought us immeasurable happiness as well.
